Acquisition Process
Three processes cooperate to deliver capabilities needed by warfighters: the requirements process (JCIDS); the acquisition process (DAS); and the program and budget development process (PPBE). Includes links to DoD and Service policies, guidance, tools, and resources:

Have you begun to integrate a “Smart-phone” into your daily work efforts?
Then you might be interested in a listing of apps and mobile sites developed for use by the US Government http://apps.usa.gov/
The offerings include mobile sites, Android, iPhone or iPad apps.
Lots and lots of stuff Is available, many items relating to travel aids (PerDiem for CONUS, Smart Traveler from the State Dept for iPad, as well as mobile sites for the State Department, the National Weather service , the Hurricane center and the FAA).
You can see on your phone the details of the 2013 Budget, review the Federal IT Dashboard mobile, check out a Pocket directory to Congress or run a FCC mobile broadband test.
