USIP’s Haiti Working Group focuses the attention of Washington policymakers on Haiti. Monthly meetings convene a group of officials, experts, practitioners, and interested members of the public to discuss developments in Haiti and in U.S.-Haitian relations.
Through the Haiti Working Group, USIP has convened public forums and produced thoughtful publications on Haiti since 2006. Monthly meetings convene a group of officials, experts, practitioners, and interested members of the public to discuss developments in Haiti and in U.S.-Haitian relations. USIP's Haiti Program is directed by Robert Perito. The Chairman of the Haiti Working Group is Robert Maguire, Professor at George Washington University and former USIP Jennings Randolph Senior Fellow.
