National User Resource for Biological Accelerator Mass Spectrometry

The National User Resource for Biological Accelerator Mass Spectrometry (AMS) was established to make AMS available to biomedical researchers who need to accurately measure very low levels of carbon-14 (14C) and other radioisotopes. The User Facility is also working to enhance AMS for analysis of radioisotopes in biomedical tracer studies through development of new methods and instrumentation.
