This workshop is designed to get you from zero to full-speed in two jam-packed days. From a tactical standpoint, you'll learn the basics of each of the popular social media tools—from Facebook to Twitter—including setting up an account, and the main functions of each service. You'll also get a strategic overview, covering the reasons social media has assumed its importance, how companies and consumers are using it, and the development of strategic plans. The workshop will also provide an overview of best practices within government, as well as the most successful uses throughout the organizational world.

About the Instructor:
