INHOFE RECEIVES PERFECT VOTING SCORE FROM AMERICAN SECURITY COUNCIL FOUNDATION

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The American Security Council Foundation recently recognized U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla), a senior member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, with a 100 percent voter index rating for the 1st Session of the 111th Congress. The voter index rating is based on ten votes in the U.S. Senate, one of which Inhofe’s amendment to the 2009 Stimulus Bill that would have allocated an additional $5.2 billion in offset funds for the Depart of Defense.
“I am honored to receive a perfect voting score from the American Security Council Foundation,” said Inhofe. “I am committed to providing our men and women in uniform with the best equipment and support they deserve as they work to keep America safe. In order to maintain our national security, we must also work towards policies that bring peace through strength, not towards disarming our nation’s defenses.”
