A deep upper level trough will swing across the region today. This will allow a very cold northwest flow pattern to setup over Central Pennsylvania, with lake enhanced and upslope snow showers affecting the alleghenies. A ridge of high pressure will arrive on Monday before a new frontal system approaches for Tuesday.
