The Coast Guard’s portfolio of aviation acquisition projects will recapitalize the service’s fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft fleets by delivering new and upgraded platforms–including the HC-144A and HC-130J, the MH-65D and MH-60T. Additionally, these projects provide improved mission equipment and advanced operational capabilities to Coast Guard aircrews. Working closely with requirements sponsors and technical authorities, the aviation projects help to maximize asset capabilities and longevity while minimizing lifecycle total ownership costs.
