Why Brazil?
In 2010/11, about 9,000 students from Brazil studied in the United States. Science Without Borders, a Brazilian government program, provides one year scholarships to Brazilian undergraduate students to study at U.S. colleges and universities primarily in the fields of: science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Students then return to Brazil to complete their degrees.
