Reporting to Work

On your first day of work, report directly to the US Patent and Trademark Office campus at 8:30 am. Please refer to your offer letter for the exact location of your orientation. A map is available to help you maneuver around the campus.

  • Most orientations will take place in the Madison Building Auditorium Concourse Level at 600 Dulany Street, Alexandria, Virginia. You will not need a badge or pass to access the auditorium; the Madison Building Auditorium Concourse Level is accessible to the public.
  • Some orientations will take place in the Elizabeth Townhouse on 550 Elizabeth Lane, Alexandria, Virginia on the west side of the campus. A representative from the Office of Human Resources will escort you through the guard station to the orientation site.
Regardless of where orientation will be held, you will need to bring two forms of identification in original form. At least one of these documents must be a valid state or federal government-issued picture identification.

If you have any other questions, feel free to contact your Human Resources Management Specialist. Contact information is on your accession letter.
