    This week, the House returns to Washington for legislative business on Monday, September 10th.  Scheduled for consideration is legislation relating to manufacturing competitiveness, courthouse safety, foreign surveillance, and continuing appropriations for fiscal year 2013.  The House also will consider bipartisan legislation introduced by Rep. Biggert to preserve the solvency of the Federal Housing Administration (FHA).  On Tuesday, September 11th, Rep. Biggert will chair a hearing of the Subcommittee on Insurance, Housing and Community Opportunity regarding the future of the Terrorism Risk Insurance Program.  On Wednesday, September 12th, the Financial Services Committee will hold a hearing on the Vulnerable Veterans Housing Reform Act of 2012.  On Friday, September 14th, Rep. Biggert will chair a hearing of the Subcommittee on Insurance, Housing and Community Opportunity to examine how federal housing programs can better serve veterans.  For more information, click here
