James Esposito, executive officer aboard the guided missile USS Carr (FFG 52), and Ensign Michael Brown verify navigation points on a chart while the ship transits through the English Channel. Carr is homeported out of Norfolk, Va., and is on is a scheduled three-month deployment supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility.
