GDYNIA, Poland (June 1, 2012) - Polish Vice Adm. Tomasz Mathea (left), Commander-in-Chief, Polish Navy, and U.S. Navy Vice Adm. Frank C. Pandolfe (right), Commander, U.S. 6th Fleet and Commander, Striking and Support Forces NATO, speak with an aircrewman of the W-3RM 'Anakonda' search and rescue helicopter used by the Polish Navy. During Vice Adm. Pandolfe's official visit to Poland, he met with several Polish Navy and other military officials. His visit coincided with the start of the largest international maritime exercise in the Baltic Sea, BALTOPS, which marks its 40th anniversary this year.  Participants from 12 countries are participating in the exercise, June 1-16, including Denmark, Estonia, France, Georgia, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Sweden and the United States.
