Myfuture.com (hereinafter referred to as "this site") is provided as a public service by the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Defense Human Resources Activity and the Joint Advertising, Market Research & Studies (JAMRS) Program.

With the exception of the career videos, information presented on this site is considered public information and may be distributed or copied. Use of appropriate byline/photo/image credits is requested.

Personal privacy is important to us. Providing personal information to us is strictly voluntary and will assist us in providing you with further information or allow you to access it at a later time. Myfuture.com never collects information for commercial marketing and does not create individual profiles or give any personal information to private organizations. While you must provide an email address if you choose to create a user login name and password, we will only use this information to allow you to save web pages and documents for you to access later. Similarly, we will only email you upon your request, should you forget the password that you created for yourself and need to have one sent to you. The information collected from you on this site is accomplished in accordance with Section 503, Title 10, United States Code. Any information you provide is protected from unauthorized disclosure in accordance with the Privacy Act of 1974.

For site security purposes, and to ensure that this site remains available to all users, the hosting system for this site employs software programs that monitor network traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage. Unauthorized attempts to upload information or change information on this site are strictly prohibited and may be punishable under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1986 and the National Information Infrastructure Protection Act.

Except for authorized law-enforcement investigations, no other attempts are made on this site to identify individual users or their usage habits. Raw-data logs are used for no other purposes and are scheduled for regular destruction in accordance with National Archives and Records Administration Guidelines.

For site management, a software program is used to create user summary statistics that are used for such purposes as assessing what information is of most and least interest, determining technical design specifications and identifying system performance or problem areas.
