Advisory Committees
Consumer Representatives
A consumer representative represents the consumer perspective on issues and actions before the advisory committee. They serve as liaisons between the committee and interested consumers, associations, coalitions and consumer organizations. They facilitate dialogue with the advisory committees on scientific issues that affect consumers.
How to Apply
Nominations of qualified individuals must include:
- Complete curriculum vitae of each nominee
- Current business and/or home address, telephone number, and e-mail
- The advisory committee(s) or advisory panel(s) for which the nominee is recommended
- A written confirmation that the nominee is aware of the nomination (unless self nominated)
- A cover letter that includes a list of consumer or community based organizations for which the candidate can demonstrate active participation
