7th Annual Blood Battle Challenge Takes Place (Michelle Lele, ASBP Blood Donor Recruiter, Tripler, Hawaii)
For the seventh consecutive year, the Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta Companies at the Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, competed to see not only who could draw the most blood, but who could provide the most support to the military blood program during the annual Blood Battle Challenge event.

Recently, in honor of a great friend and fellow employee, Francis Tonaki, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Fort Shafter, Hawaii, conducted their second annual Armed Services Blood Program blood drive. Francis Tonaki began his career with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 1983 and was a veteran of the Hawaii Army National Guard.
