Preventing employment discrimination from occurring in the federal workplace is preferable to trying to deal with the consequences of discrimination. EEOC is committed to providing training and technical assistance, outreach and educational programs to assist employers, employees and stakeholder groups understand and prevent discrimination. We believe that discrimination can be averted if federal agencies and their employees know their legal rights and responsibilities. EEOC can help you meet the goal of making your federal agency a Model Agency.
EEOC representatives are available, on a limited basis, to make presentations and participate in meetings with federal employees and employers, and their representative groups. EEOC provides a variety of training programs geared specifically for the federal sector. We provide an extensive training curriculum, through the EEOC Training Institute, as well as customized training, to meet particular needs. Our EEOC Training Institute classes address issues important in the federal workplace, and are offered throughout the year in varying locations. Please include in your email information on the topics you wish to have covered in your training, as well as your time frame, location for the training, and a point of contact. A member of the Federal Training & Outreach Division will be in touch with you after receipt.

The ELC is designed to meet the professional development needs of senior leaders in the EEO field. The ELC was developed by the EEOC to help ensure EEO leaders have the leadership skills necessary to meet the challenges of their profession. Training offered at the ELC will address leadership competencies, personal development, and other topics vital to the success of current and future executives.
This conference is designed for senior EEO officials from federal, state and local governments, EEO executives from the private sector, and those who seek to move into senior positions. HR executives who have significant responsibilities in managing and implementing an EEO program are also encouraged to attend. Conference registration is limited to the GS-14 and above population, and equivalents.
