May 2012 new orders for manufactured goods increased 0.7 percent from April, to $469.0 billion. Shipments rose 0.5 percent to $476.0 billion. Unfilled orders were virtually unchanged at $984.4 billion. And inventories fell 0.2 percent to $604.5 billion.

March 2012 new orders for manufactured goods decreased 1.5 percent from February, to $460.5 billion. Shipments rose 0.7 percent to $466.2 billion. Unfilled orders increased 0.1 percent to $930.6 billion and inventories rose 0.3 percent to $618.4 billion.
February 2012 new orders for manufactured goods increased 1.3 percent from January, to $468.4 billion. Shipments rose 0.1 percent to $462.6 billion. Unfilled orders increased 1.3 percent to $931.1 billion. And inventories rose 0.4 percent to $616.8 billion.
