Tactical Aircraft Maintenance personnel are responsible for the condition of the Air Force's flying fleet, and for the safety of its flying team. Prospective Tactical Aircraft Maintenance students attend an 88-day course at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, where they learn the ins and outs of aircraft maintenance, support and service.
