Press Release: Team U.S.A. Sailing Skipper Fails To Qualify for China 08 Olympics |

Mumbai, India, Oct. 15, 2007 – The U.S. Armed Forces Sailing team announces that its skipper, Lt. Cdr. David Fagan, failed to qualify for the 2008 China Olympics yesterday at Rhode Island Sailing Foundation, Third Beach, Middletown, Rhode Island. He placed 27th overall from a field of 33 competitors in the Laser Men’s single dinghy division.
Fagan, a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, and product of the USNA Sailing Team, has earned a reputation as a world renowned individual and team boat racer. He was selected in 2002 to the U.S. Sailing team, and competed in the Sidney Olympics of 2004. Full Release |
