Academy Reception

Congressman McClintock held a reception on June 12, 2012 to honor students from the 4th Congressional District who received an appointment to a U.S. Service Academy. Students received a certificate of special congressional recognition for their appointment. Fifteen students from the 4th district were selected to start this fall among an extremely competitive field nationwide. Colonel Henry Adams, shown here with Rep. McClintock, is the West Point Academy Liaison for the 4th Congressional District. Academy representatives from West Point (Col. Henry Adams, Lt. Col Jeff Scruggs), Navy (Bob Proano) and Air Force (Lt. Col Paul Malenke) were in attendance to provide encouragement and congratulations to the appointees and their families.
