Paul Ryan: "The United States tax code is a mess. We've got to get out of the game of Washington picking winners and losers through the tax code. These special interest loopholes end up rewarding a few while raising taxes on everyone else. We want to remove these barriers of upward mobility and opportunity to have a true entrepreneurial form of capitalism, not crony capitalism."

  • he wants to repeal the death tax and quote "Eliminate taxes for taxpayers with AGI below $200,000 on interest, dividends, and capital gains". he also supports lowering corporate taxes which are the highest in the developed world, lower them so we can have a better shot at competing. find a source where he says he wants to tax the poor and lower taxes on the rich, i dare you.

  • Crony capitalists like Romney don't want to give everybody a shot; starting with giving tax cuts to millionaires and billionaires but increasing taxes for those making less than $30K.

  • Its called being successful, our government, through geographic advantages, a lucky string of good leaders, lots of brave men and woman, got to be successful, its like telling a rich person to not get to rich because of various reasons. I say let the rich be rich, let the poor be poor, but let EVERYONE have an equal shot.

  • Who gives a damn about being a global superpower? Our goal is to provide the well being and have a good standard of living for both the nation and its citizens.

Not be some big buff guy whose secretly dying on the inside.

  • Me2 except as a global superpower we have to keep our military presence, especially in asia. we should, for the most part, leave southwest asia and we need to completely rewrite our foreign policy, we are not in the cold war anymore

  • Thank you sir.

  • I concur with your policy general Washington

  • You know the GOP very well! Which is why they gave you all those negative votes! To them, TRUTH HURTS!

  • The father of modern day capitalism, Adam Smith. Someone that Milton Friedman has quoted. Said,"it's NOT the TOP, the apex, that MAKES capitalism work. BUT, IT'S BASE" In, other words, the "job Creators" is just a GOP propaganda term.
