Chief Scientific and Technical Advisor for Propulsion Control Systems
Mr. Hals Larsen has 30 years experience at the Boeing Company, where he specialized in new technology for propulsion control systems. In his most recent positions at Boeing, Mr. Larsen was responsible for certification and installation of the GE90 engine on the B777 aircraft. Prior to that, he was Chief Engineer for propulsion systems integration on the B777 aircraft.
In his current position, Mr. Larsen supports the various Aircraft and Engine Certification Offices on propulsion controls questions and issues. He is an available advisor to industry on control system design, certification, and in-service difficulty issues.
Mr. Larsen holds five patents, four in engine control systems. He has co-written numerous papers on engine control system integration, and is the principal contributor to:Member, professional society: Mr. Larsen is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
