Rhythm method
NOTE: In "Rhythm or safe period by calendar," a woman's fertile period is determined by counting the days from the start of her period that month. The woman abstains from sexual intercourse on her fertile days.
Rhythm method use among women 15-44 years of age who have ever had intercourse, 2006-2008:
- Percent of women who have ever used the rhythm method: 19.4%
- Percent of women currently using the rhythm method: 0.5%
