Each year, Sigma Xi holds its Annual Meeting and Student Research Conference. During the Annual Meeting, delegates from Sigma Xi chapters work with Sigma Xi staff and leaders to exchange information about managing chapters, governance and Sigma Xi's future. The Annual Meeting also offers an opportunity for the Sigma Xi Board of Directors to meet and for delegates to attend to Society business meetings. The annual conference also includes a Student Research Conference, highlighting outstanding research by graduate, undergraduate and some high school students.

In addition to annual Sigma Xi meetings, chapters and partners host events throughout the year that highlight issues that are at the heart of Sigma Xi's mission.
