Training Opportunities
Public Health Associate Program
Whether you are a recent baccalaureate college graduate or a prospective health agency considering hosting an entry-level Public Health Associate, the Public Health Associate Program (PHAP) can assist you with your public health goals. PHAP is a competitive, two-year, paid fellowship within the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Public Health Associates are assigned to state, tribal, local and territorial public health agencies and hold positions that are functionally indistinguishable from their local colleagues. Upon completion of the two-year program, graduates will be qualified for permanent positions in federal, state, tribal, local and territorial public health agencies.
