The Top Ten teams in the Stars and Stripes' 2008 Far East high school football ratings, with records through Sept. 13, points and last week’s rating, as compiled by Dave Ornauer of Stars and Stripes sports. Ratings are based on teams' win-loss records, quality of wins, strength of roster, schedule and leagues, point differential and team and individual statistics. Maximum rating is 500 points:

Daegu American at Osan American, 6 p.m.–Visiting Warriors will bring their speed and spread option game to Cougars Field, where they’ll encounter Osan’s physical size – and a field under construction as the school undergoes major renovations. … Warriors 14, Cougars 10.

Southern at John F. Kennedy, 7 p.m.-One of these teams will get well, but whom? … Islanders 9, Dolphins 6.

Japan
American School In Japan at Robert D. Edgren, 10 a.m.-Two teams that either use or have implemented portions of the controversial A-11 offense now get a chance to pit it against each other. … Eagles 19, Mustangs 16.
Guam
Guam High vs. Simon Sanchez at Ramsey Field, John F. Kennedy High School, Upper Tumon, 7 p.m.-Rough stretch ahead for the Panthers; Sharks continue to look like the genuine article. … Sharks 20, Panthers 12.
Father Duenas Memorial at George Washington, 7 p.m.-Rematch of the last five league championship games goes to last year’s champion Friars again. … Friars 17, Geckos 15.
Interarea
Yokota, Japan, at Kubasaki, Okinawa, 7 p.m.-Dragons have improved defensively over last year, so don’t expect a 30-point romp. Visiting Panthers must contend with Okinawa’s heat and Dragons size; Kubasaki must hold down Panthers’ multifaceted offense. … Panthers 24, Dragons 20.
