Is this the original house?
-No, the original was torn down at the dawn of the 20th century. The current brownstone is a reconstruction built in the 1920s.
Can I do a self guided tour of the period rooms?
- No, the period rooms may be visited only on a guided tour. Ranger-led tours are available at 10 and 11 a.m. and 1,2,3, and 4 p.m.
Can I join a tour already under way?
- No, late comers will be asked to join the next tour available tour. While waiting visitors may visit the lower gallery, which is self-guided.
