How did your district rank?

Non-profit consulting companies Battelle for Kids and SOAR ranked the 609 school districts in Ohio based on students' academic progress between the 2009-10 school year and the 2010-11 school year.

The groups used the Ohio Department of Education’s “Value-Added” data for the rankings. The value-added calculation is based on standardized test scores for students in grades four through eight.

Green=more than a year's worth of academic growth
Yellow=exactly a year's worth of academic growth
Red= less than a year's worth of academic growth

Composite Index: this number represents how far away the district is from the state average for student growth.
