What are your views on genetically modified foods and their health risks or benefits?      Kris Wetterstrand, M.S.: I currently work on the Large-scale Sequencing Program, which managed the Human Genome Project, and the Human Microbiome Project, an effort to sequence the DNA of microbes (e.g. bacteria) that live in and on humans. I think the use of genetically modified foods will be necessary to feed the earth's growing population. St. Mark's School in MA (12th grade student)
