"NATO Science Partnership Prize" presentation
A highlight of the extraordinary session of the NATO Science Committee

Brussels, 23 - 24 October 2002

On Thursday, 24 October, the NATO Secretary General, Lord Robertson, will present the first NATO Science Partnership Prize to the three winners, Aleksandr P. Kozlov (Russia), Artem Khalatov (Ukraine) and Nick Syred (United Kingdom), on the occasion of an extraordinary session of the NATO Science Committee.

This extraordinary session of the NATO Science Committee, the "Grand Gathering", is the opportunity for the scientists involved in managing and advising on the NATO Science Programme to debate the future direction of the Programme in view of the new threats to security and stability and the impending NATO enlargement.
