Military and Family Life Consultants |

Military and Family Life Consultants are licensed professionals who provide situational, problem-solving consultations anonymously and confidentially. No written records are kept, and it is free to military and family members. They also work hand-in-hand with existing services to provide consulting, education and training support on topics such as: Combat stress and coping strategies; emotional cycle of deployment and reintegration; communication; relationship issues and re-establishing intimacy; anger management/conflict resolution; parenting skills; children's reaction to deployment and reunion. Military Family Life Consultants are available on-post at (253) 329-6632 and off-post at (253) 320-6632. Offices are in Building 2166. In addition, two consultants work with Child, Youth and School Services and can be reached at (253) 677-3883. McChord personnel should call (253) 304-8401.
