Figure 1 is a chart with four horizontal bars showing median time from specimen collection date to the date of several steps in the genotyping surveillance process: to genotype report date was 67 days; to linking date was 122 days; to surveillance upload date, 103 days, and to completion date, 142 days. One note says that these steps can occur in any order, and the timing of each step is independent of the other steps. Another note indicates that 40 days is the typical time required to culture M. tuberculosis.
