The age limit is due to the set up of AmeriCorps*NCCC, which this program will be part of. While it may seem odd, NCCC is a program that offers young adults an opportinuty to develop skills they can use to help them enter the workforce.<br /><br />That said, you can apply to be a Team Leader as long as you are over 21 (it might even be 18).
