NHD Quiz Maps in Google Earth

The NHD quiz can now be viewed in Google Earth. Google Earth is a free service that can be downloaded at http://earth.google.com/. Once you have downloaded Google Earth, open it on your computer.

Download and save the NHD Quiz file to your local drive.

In Google Earth, go to file → open → navigate to the folder holding the NHD_Quiz.kmz file. This will add the kmz file to either the Temporary Places or My Places location under the table of contents in Google Earth. Expand the NHD_Quiz.kmz file by clicking the + button next to the file in the table of contents. Click the + sign again to expand the folder that the .kmz holds called NHD Quiz. This will allow you to see all of the NHD quizzes. Double click on any quiz and Google Earth will take you to the quiz location. A Pop-up will provide information and graphics related to this quiz.
