The Y Joins Public Media to Spread Awareness on High School Dropout Crisis

On Saturday, Sept. 22, YMCA of the USA will join other nonprofits and education advocates in “American Graduate Day” – a national public television broadcast and outreach event dedicated to engaging our country around the dropout crisis. This seven-hour special, beginning at 1 p.m. ET, will highlight national and local community partners and educators working to keep at-risk students in school, and features hosts such as PBS NewsHour's Ray Suarez, ABC News correspondent Juju Chang, and Need to Know anchor Maria Hinojosa, among others.
