Response Efforts

When a disaster strikes, the Google Crisis Response team assesses the severity and scope of the disaster, and the relevance of our tools for the situation to determine
whether and how to respond.

Our responses might include:

• Creating a resource page with emergency information and tools
• Launching Google Person Finder to connect people with friends and loved ones
• Hosting a Crisis Map with authoritative and crowd-sourced geographic information
