Life Cycle Engineering Group

Welcome

Develops, advances, and deploys measurement science to engineer the life cycle performance of products and processes, with particular emphasis on their sustainability.  Carries out mission-related measurement science research and services to advance life cycle engineering for green manufacturing and construction applications; conduct life cycle engineering assessments for energy efficiency and environmental performance; and develop sustainability standards, codes, and practices for manufacturing and construction to include reuse, remanufacturing, and recycling.
