My name is PFC Guillen. I am a 13 Romeo (13R) which is a Fire Finder Radar Operator. My job is important because once we're set up and ready to go I can easily identify where the enemy is. I'm here to keep my men safe.
My name is Amy Forza. I'm a student at Pacific Lutheran University. I've been in the Army ROTC program for three years. I see myself as an Army Officer in the Army Reserve, going to graduate school.
My name is PFC Alemando Juarez. I am a 21 Bravo (21B) Company Combat Engineer. I needed a bigger challenge that's why I joined the Army. A combat engineer is a specialist in demolition, but we can build anything. I love my job. Growing up in a Hispanic household my parents always taught me dignity and respect. Now that I'm in the Army I clearly understand what those words really do mean to me. My parents are very proud of me for what I'm doing and for what a man I've become.
I can actually see the Army ROTC program working for me. I can see it changing me, developing me as a student, as a person, as a leader. Before I joined the Army I thought I wasn't really confident about myself, and now that I'm in the Army I know that I can do almost anything that I want to. Before the Army I didn't know where I was going, now that I'm in I see so many new possibilities.
The Army ROTC program has been a life changing thing for me. I have learned a lot, as a Soldier, as a civilian, I've grown a lot in these last three years. Army Strong to me means having the strength within myself and knowing that I'm part of something bigger than me. It'll build your confidence, make you a better person.
