MISSION

Army Public Affairs Northeast maintains public support for the Army and its Soldiers in New York and the Northeast region by communicating the Army’s themes and messages through community outreach events, media engagements and support to veteran and military support organizations to our stakeholders, the American people. The office coordinates for Army participation at events to include senior Army leaders, color guards, bands, ceremonial units, aerial demonstration teams, flyovers, Soldiers and equipment. Army Public Affairs Northeast pitches Army story ideas to media, places Army leaders and subject matter experts in appropriate media settings, provides media advisories and responses to query and assists with media requests to cover Army units. Army Public Affairs Northeast is the approval authority for authors requesting Army assistance with book projects. In addition to working with authors, the office coordinates requests for support with Army installations and units worldwide.
