  5. Received another kudos for Academy personnel from a visitor! Great job! (HS):
I wanted to express my appreciation to Dermot Coll and to the rest of the staff in the press box for ensuring the safe return of my camera. I had left my camera under the table during the Football luncheon Parents' Weekend and did not realize it until later that evening. While they were understandabley unable to get it...
back to me on Saturday, they offered to mail it back and refused to take any payment for doing so. I received it in perfect condition on Friday.
My son and I were touring the Academy for the first time in preparation for his hopeful admission to the class of 2018. We were both so very impressed.
Every person we encountered both faculty and alum was friendly, helpful, encouraging, and most-importantly realistic in presenting Academy life to my son. The pride they feel was evident and we look forward to becoming part of the Academy family in two years.
Thank you for a wonderful weekend and please pass along my thanks to the staff at the press box.

  7. Received this awesome letter from a Michigan fan today and thought we'd share. Sure says something about the quality of our cadets (RH):
We are season ticket holders to Michigan football and were in attendance this past Saturday for the game.
Our seats are located adjacent to the visiting fans so each game affords us an opportunity to interact with the opposing teams fans.
We wanted to let you kn...
ow that the Air Force fans are, without a doubt, the most courteous and honorable people we've ever experienced in the 23 years that we've been attending Michigan football games. They were all true sportsmen/women and it's great to know that our military produces such wonderful people.
Many visiting fans are abusive and spew derisive, foul language during the game. Not so with the Air Force people.
Thanks for your service and for defending our Country.
