Utilizing natural resources, finding food, needing water, contracting diseases – in some regions, people and wildlife come into direct conflict. In other regions, humans and animals must both adapt to the effects of a changing climate. Throughout every part of the world and throughout every facet of life, animals and humans are inextricably connected.

The Wildlife Without Borders - Global Program address these pressing threats to wildlife with various initiatives within its relevant international programs, working to comprehensively plan solutions and educate local communities about these problems.

Among the most critical cross-cutting issues are human-wildlife conflict, wildlife disease, bushmeat, and climate change. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife program supports programs that address each of these issues uniquely.
