Director of White House Hispanic Education Initiative to Address Arizona State University's Young Latino Male Symposium

Juan Sepulveda, executive director of the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanic Americans, will deliver the keynote address at Arizona State University's Young Latino Male Symposium at noon MDT Friday, Oct. 1 in Phoenix. The event is being hosted by Arizona State University's Center for Community Development and Civil Rights and will take place at the Urban Research Lab at the downtown campus. Sepulveda will discuss the Obama administration's strategies to increase Latino students' access to a quality education and improve their rates of education attainment in order to keep the U.S. competitive in the global marketplace.
