Approximately 8.5 miles of primitive trails are maintained in the wilderness area and free roaming off-trail travel is permitted in this area. An additional
1.5 miles of handicap accessible boardwalk trails are available at the Wildlife
Observation Center on Long Hill Road. Trails are open during daylight hours to foot travel
only (with the exception of strollers, wheelchairs or other mobility-assisting equipment at
the Wildlife Observation Center).
