SECRETARY CLINTON: Well, it is wonderful to welcome President Fernandez here to the State Department. I was privileged to be in the Oval Office yesterday when the president met with the President. And it was an excellent meeting and I look forward to following through today on the many issues that were discussed. But again, Mr. President, we’re so pleased you’re here.

And I would also like to state that for me, it was an honor, a great honor to have this meeting yesterday with President Obama, and we shared some thoughts about the situation in the region, and specifically about the relationship between the Dominican Republic and the U.S.
