At Stewart-Haas Racing, we take pride in our technology and our people.

A race team can go through twelve different cars in a single sprint cup season, but not a single racecar gets onto the racetrack without exacting, fabrication, and strengthening tests. Just like Army strong Soldier, we cannot successfully complete our mission without our crew members carrying out their specific roles in the U.S. Army race team.
So this is the first step in constructing a racecar here at Stewart-Haas Racing. Basically the car starts as a skeleton which is just a rollcage. And then we go to the fabrication department where the outside skin of the car is made. Most of our sheet metal is made in house, it is all hand-formed, everything is riveted, welded, and constructed right here at Stewart-Haas Racing.
The car comes out of the body shop, it's painted, decaled, everything like you would see at the racetrack. This is actually a mile and a half racecar we'd run Michigan, California, and Las Vegas with. Notice there's no large intakes for their braking cooling because we don't need it there. But the next car I'm about to show you had the larger intakes for the brake coolers because this is a short track car. This car here has no motor, no suspension, no running gear in it yet - but it is about to get assembled.
And this is our final prep station before the car actually goes to the racetrack. As you can see, the motors in it, the wheels are on it, the suspension - actually Tobeer and Jay are doing final prep on the engine, doing a little nut and bolt. Let me take you to the inside.
We have the seat, steering wheel, gages, mirror, we even have the helmet air conditioning hose all ready to go. This helps Ryan make 500 miles and be comfortable.
