| Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta meets with Commander of the North Sea Fleet Chinese Vice Adm. Tian Zhong in Qingdao, China, on Sept. 20, 2012. Panetta previously met with his defense counterparts and Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping in Beijing to discuss regional security issues of interest to both nations. Panetta will travel to Auckland, New Zealand, for the last stop on his weeklong trip to the Pacific.
