| Commander of the People's Liberation Army Armored Forces Academy Maj. Gen. Zu Hang presents Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta with a plaque in Beijing, China, on Sept. 19, 2012. Panetta also met with Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping and his defense counterparts to discuss regional security issues of interest to both nations. Panetta visited Tokyo, Japan, before continuing to Beijing and will travel to Auckland, New Zealand, on a weeklong trip to the Pacific.
