| Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta laughs as he is presented with a plate commemorating his visit to China by Chinese Minister of National Defense Gen. Liang Guanglie after an official dinner in Beijing, China, on Sept. 18, 2012. Panetta and Liang met earlier to discuss regional security issues of interest to both nations. Panetta visited Tokyo, Japan, before continuing to Beijing and will travel to Auckland, New Zealand, on a weeklong trip to the Pacific.
