As U.S. Trade Deficit Widens, Pushing for China Currency Legislation
Sen. Brown released the following statement urging the U.S. House to act on his bipartisan Currency Exchange and Oversight Reform Act, which passed the Senate in 2011 and represents the biggest bipartisan jobs bill passed that year. New figures were released showing the U.S. trade deficit growing to $42 billion in July, up 0.2 percent from June.
