The Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs fulfills its Statutory requirement of DOE Organization (P.L. 95-91) by working with Members of Congress, their staffs, and Committees/Subcommittees to define, articulate and advance the Energy Department's position on pending legislation; to implement national policy priorities as enacted into law by Congress; and to notify members of Congress regarding pending awards/grants/contracts that have an impact upon the member’s State/District.
